RACQ is searching for a driven and experienced Manager Claims Operations to lead and manage our frontline Claims Operations team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service, quality and productivity, while fostering a positive and motivated team environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage the member experience across Property Claims Operations (Claims Lodgement and Fulfillment teams for Working Loss claims).
- Oversee the achievement of service, quality, productivity, people and financial goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including RACQ members, suppliers and regulators.
- Provide coaching and support to the Claims Operations team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, including the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) Act and Insurance Law.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimise claims processing efficiency.
About you:
- 1-3 years' experience in a relevant claims management role.
- Proven experience leading and motivating a team.
- Strong understanding of the property claims process and claims management models.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant Queensland legislation and an awareness of interstate legislation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in relevant HR and employment management requirements.
