ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a full-time Manager - Client Medical Services to join our head office in QV1 Building Perth CBD, on a maximum term contract until December 2025. Working approximately 38 hours a week to support a 24 hour, 7 day a week Medical Services project in two remote locations in WA. Hybrid working arrangement with some flexibility to fly to site from time to time will be required.
This position will oversee and drive the overall success of the Medical Services to the Project. The Manager - Client Medical Services will be the main point of contact with the Client, with administrative support available.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring project objectives are delivered within agreed timeframes and budget;
Managing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, project members (including site medical teams) and service providers to achieve goals and outcomes;
Ensuring the project's Medical Services delivery complies with the Client's and SHP policies, governance, standards and KPIs;
Developing project guidelines, planning and scheduling;
Accountability for cost control within agreed budgets via strict monitoring practices;
Proactively identifying and managing project issues and risks;
Identifying contract variations and participating in negotiations in respect to any scope changes;
Providing project management and performance reporting for stakeholders/management team in accordance with contractual requirements and deadlines;
Overseeing the operational issues relating to service, staffing and protocols;
Ensuring the delivery of clinical best practice and optimal customer service standards that exceed the requirements of the project; and
Managing all occupational health and safety aspects of the project.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will be well organised with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills together with the following:
An eye for detail and a desire to provide the best quality service to all staff and clients;
In-depth knowledge of project/operational management procedures, budgeting and quality assurance;
Effective problem solving skills and decision making skills as well as have the ability to lead and influence groups of teams to achieve outcomes;
Experience managing medical and clinical services combined with experience in managing remote projects will be considered favourably; and
Registered Nurse / Allied Health or health degree qualified professional will be highly regarded
