About the role
Located at the geographical centre of Victoria, within one hour's drive from Ballarat or Bendigo, and just two hours from Melbourne sits Central Goldfields Shire Council. LOOKING TO LEAD AND INSPIRE DURING A TIME OF CHANGE?
You will lead a team to design and deliver effective and responsive plans and services which reflect the expectations and ambitions of the local community from across Central Goldfields Shire. You will ensure that local people are fully involved in setting priorities for their communities and for shaping Council services to address them.
COULD THIS BE THE CAREER MOVE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR?
You will be responsible for the implementation and reporting cycle for the Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan and have oversight of the Council Community Grants Program. You will be responsible for overseeing emergency management planning and implementation, the development of community buildings in the Shire and will manage youth and economic development.
