The Role

Are you a dynamic leader ready to make a difference in local government? We are seeking a Manager of Compliance and Environmental Health to lead our diverse Department, which includes Environmental Health, Parking Services, City Compliance, Animal Management, the Wat Djerring Animal Facility, and School Crossing Supervision.
In this role, you will oversee service growth and change, and deliver a comprehensive business plan that addresses daily operations while planning for the next 3-5 years.
As a member of Council’s Senior Leadership team, this position is responsible for contributing to key strategic initiatives and decision-making.
About you
We are looking for a leader with strong leadership and management skills, experience in regulatory Compliance and Environmental Health, and a proven ability to develop and implement strategic business plans. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a talent for managing service growth and change. They should also demonstrate a commitment to collaboration, integrity, and community-focused service.
