An exciting opportunity for a Manager of Financial Operations to work within a WA State Government department.
Your new company
We have partnered with a large government department client to assist in their search for an experienced people manager to oversee the operational finance team, in a level 6 or 7 capacity with two direct reports.
The role is based in Perth CBD and is a 6-month temporary assignment. Ideally, you will be immediately available and ready to start as soon as possible.
Your new role
As Manager Financial Operations, you will be responsible for:
Oversee the operational finance team and guide two level 5 TL's by driving strong leadership
Accounts payable team: Invoice processing, vendor management
Accounts receivable: Reconciliations, cash management
Governance of the department
- Process improvement as required
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role is essential, as is:
Proven extensive experience in team and people management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Finance and accounts background is essential, but not expected to be undertaking transactional tasks
A current National Police Clearance
Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team environment
