What you’ll be doing
As the Manager of FRMS and Human Performance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, health, and performance of our workforce. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative approaches to managing fatigue related risks and enhancing Human Performance across the Virgin Australia organisation. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
In addition to this, you will need to be able to influence others, challenge the way people think and collaborate and stay abreast of industry trends, regulation, and best practices related to fatigue risk management and Human Performance. It’s all about change, adapting to new ways of thinking and taking others on the journey.
You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Hold a formal qualification in a safety related discipline, such as human factors, safety or risk management
- Experience in influencing organisational change surrounding human factors, performance and fatigue
- Have a high level of investigation experience with proven techniques to identify safety contributing factors and the corrective actions required for prevention
- Showcase your leadership capability as well as your willingness to learn and collaborate
- Have a previous background in safety systems or safety management would be highly desirable
