We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join us as the Manager Governance in the Finance and Governance Directorate. This key leadership role involves steering the strategic and operational direction of the organisation’s Governance and Strategic issues. The successful candidate will provide guidance to Directors, Managers, staff, and committees on best practices for strategic and governance frameworks, ensuring legislative compliance and promoting business excellence.
Working collaboratively with the General Manager Finance and Governance, you will contribute to the delivery of the City of Palmerston Community Plan.
We are looking for a candidate with a relevant tertiary qualification in Governance, Accounting, Business Management, Law, or a related discipline, combined with at least three years of relevant management experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in governance in a public sector environment, demonstrate a commitment to high standards of integrity, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
