As the Manager Group Business Resilience, you will be responsible for ensuring the Qantas Group has robust processes in place to be able to deal with crisis management, business continuity and response. You will be responsible for the provision of advice and guidance to segments of the Qantas Group to ensure the are capabilities across the group to be able to respond efficiently and effectively to an incident. This role will be responsible for developing training programs and exercises that allow for a highly skilled and capable workforce ensuring effective responses across the Group.

You’ll have –

5+ years’ experience in fields related to organisational resilience – namely, business continuity, contingency planning, emergency response and crisis management
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are desirable
Excellent knowledge of business continuity, contingency planning, emergency response and crisis management theory and the ability to implement this into the aviation environment
A strong grounding in risk management related disciplines relevant to business resilience, business continuity and contingency planning
A demonstrated strong working knowledge or prior experience in running business continuity exercise programs and the planning and conduct of crisis response exercises
Demonstrated high order skills and capabilities in collaborative communication, conflict management and customer service
Demonstrated management, team-leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal confidently and effectively with multilateral internal and external stakeholders, including in an international context
Ability to successfully work in a team environment as an individual who demonstrates flexibility, self-motivation, enthusiasm and sound judgement
Superior time management and organisational skills with the ability to work across multiple complex tasks concurrently and deliver quality output
