We work with owners and owners' corporations to help them rectify non-compliant or non-conforming external wall cladding products on buildings. We do this by providing support, guidance and connections to appropriately registered and qualified practitioners.
Initially set up as a business unit of the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), CSV recruited staff and built the policies and procedures needed to deliver the program from the ground up. In late 2020, CSV was established as its own statutory entity with its own Act of Parliament.
Responsibilities
- Working in collaboration across CSV as relevant, supporting the system development and enhancements on the department's ICT Service Project by ensuring the legislative, end-user, business process and practice requirements are reflected in business case and business requirements for system design.
- Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders to determine the desired business outcome.
- Plan and facilitate workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to build and document user requirements and user stories.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:
- Extensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst providing advice and direction on varied elements of CSV's ICT Service Project.
- Good working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodology.
- Proven experience to identify and interpret business needs and business opportunities, including the ability to identify customer requirements, influence change and process improvements, make sound business and technology decisions and data modelling (data flow and ER modelling).
- Working technical knowledge in Microsoft O365, CRM Dynamics 2016/365, SharePoint, Records Management, SQL and networked computer applications.
VPS 5 range of $105,479 to $127,621 plus 10.5% super
