About You
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as the Manager of Hospital Networks at HBF. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in private health insurance, with at least 5 years of experience in managing and negotiating complex hospital contracts. You should have a deep understanding of Australian health legislation and a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with hospital providers. Additionally, we are looking for someone who demonstrates exceptional leadership skills and a strategic mindset, capable of driving initiatives to achieve organisational goals. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as you will be liaising with internal stakeholders and representing HBF on industry committees. Essential Experience:

• Highly developed negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, open and positive relationships both internally and externally.
• 5 + years’ experience with managing and/or negotiating high value and complex hospital contracts.
• Experience within Australian Private Health Insurance sector (including development and maintenance of strong provider relationships, development of participating arrangements, knowledge of health legislation)
• Experience in contract drafting, management and interpretation including management of contractual disputes.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to provide clear strategic direction and gain commitment from the team.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive business reports.
