The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Human Resources professional who has a strong background in human resources technology, systems and processes to fill the Manager, People Systems and Services role at Newmont Australia

Reporting to the Head of People Systems and Services, this position has been designed to provide leadership and direction for regional implementation and adoption of processes and programs. In doing so, the successful incumbent will have a diverse array of responsibility related to identifying solutions and needs across the HR services delivery scope and will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, efficient, compliant systems and digital operations are maintained and implemented across the business unit.

Newmont supports flexible remote working, so you'll have the opportunity for team collaboration in the Perth hub in addition to working remotely.

Key Work of the Role Includes:

  • You will lead all areas of the Australia People Services, including HR Transactions, onboarding/new hire processing, offboarding/exits and will be responsible for vendors, policies and administration of select HR programs for the business unit.
  • You will manage a team of both internal and external service providers and professionals, ensuring a delivery of high quality HR support.
  • Acting as a change agent, you will promote innovation and continual improvement across the HR Service Delivery scope.
  • With a focus on efficiency and quality, you will ensure end-to-end process flows are in place with clearly established responsibilities across peer Centre of Excellence (COE). In doing so, you will partner with COEs to drive cross collaboration and efficiencies.
  • Act as a technical liaison and point of escalation for HR systems and related deployments along with accountability for successful resolution of issues
  • As a liaison between Newmont end-users and application technical staff in the functional analysis, you will support the design, testing and maintenance of applications to ensure optimal system performance is delivered and sustained
  • As a key contributor , you will provide input on the prioritization of enhancements/projects for processes and applications as part of the broader HR technology roadmap

Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • You will possess an advanced level of proficiency in human resources technology systems and processes inclusive of SuccessFactors and SAP. This will be complimented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, IT or a related field.
  • You will have extensive experience in human resources service delivery with a keen eye for detail.
  • A demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team through positive impact and influence. With this, you will possess continuous improvement and project management skills that will compliment your people management abilities.
