The Investigation and Regulation Directorate is seeking highly motivated investigation managers with a sound background in current contemporary enforcement methodologies.

The roles
As Manager Investigations, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the enforcement and investigation oversight of the compliance and investigations program, providing professional technical advice on all enforcement activities to the General Manager. In addition, this role contributes to other Branch initiatives including the integration of planning, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
Your leadership and experience in planning, coordinating and delivering a program of varied investigations in line with targeted priorities will be key in this role. You will be required to participate in operation and project planning to develop the Branch objectives to enable delivery of Departmental outcomes.
You will bring to the role/team your experience in leading and managing processes, system and service improvements, efficiencies and integration within the Branch and across the Directorate working with other branches and teams.
You will play a pivotal role in contributing to the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures including the achievement of Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Outcomes. You will guide employees on strategic and operational matters from complaint to court.
You will have exceptional investigative skills including but not limited to: formal interviews (under caution), recording statements, seizure of exhibits, evidence handling, warrant execution and giving evidence in court.
In this role, you will provide practical coaching, mentoring and support to junior investigators in various aspects of enforcement activities. Additionally, you will advise on best practices across a broad range of Investigative functions.
You will possess exceptional ability to build strong trusted relationships at all levels, this will be highly valued.
