We have a unique opportunity for a positive and energetic Manager within our Multimedia & Design team to drive innovative education product design at Kaplan Professional.
You will be responsible for ensuring instructional and educational design supports and assists the implementation of learning and assessment strategies and applies sound instructional design principles.
Utilise your design flair and creativity in this dynamic role overseeing the development of Higher Education (HE), Vocational Education (VE), Continuing Education (CE), International, and customised digital products.
Responsibilities will include:
- Motivate and engage a team of (9) promoting innovation and creativity to help achieve performance objectives.
- Collaborating with internal and external Instructional Designers to enhance digital learning objects for effective knowledge and skills practice.
- Encouraging the use of a range of instructional design techniques, multimedia and authoring tools to enhance learner engagement.
- Collaborating with Content Managers, Content Writers and Multimedia Producers to deliver content which is engaging and interactive.
- Working with Senior Multimedia Producer ot ensure multimedia content is developed to meet publishing deadlines.
- Collaborating with Marketing, Academic Content Manager and General Manager, Academic Content Development on product marketing collateral and website copy.
- Overseeing the daily operations of existing learning technologies including Moodle(KapLearn), Ontrack (content component), Equella, Articulate, Turnitin, Kaltura, and the online proctored exam platform in collaboration with LMS Administrator, Ontrack Product Owner and IT.
- Qualifications in education design or related field (e.g. IT, education, Design, Communications)
- Proven success in designing and developing professional education programs
- Experience in using eLearning technologies and their applications including Articulate 360
- Experience in organising information published online and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of HTML and MS office suite
- Strong visual design skills
- Ability to use multiple authoring tools & story-boarding
- Ability to analyse, design, develop and evaluate eLearning solutions
- Skilled in planning, prioritising and meeting critical deadlines
- Project management skills
