RAC Finance (RACF) specialise in market leading finance products and services ranging from personal loans, investment notes to property development finance loans. Reporting into the Senior Manager Operations, you will lead the Personal FinanceLoan Processing team to ensure member service levels and responsible lending decisions are made within credit policy/procedures and targets.
This position is offered on a 12 month maximum term contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing and leading the resourcing, performance, training, and daily work flows of the Loan Processing and Liaison teams to effectively verify and settle Personal loan applications to achieve set goals.
- Analysing and re-approving loan application changes and referrals within the delegated authority to support processing and verification tasks.
- Complete quality assurance checking for processed loans in accordance with company risk and assurance procedures & regulatory requirements (e.g., responsible lending obligations).
- Contribute to RACF team strategy and deliverables and drive process review initiatives whilst effectively engaging key stakeholders and Senior Management.
- Oversee, manage, and resolve complaints in collaboration with key internal stakeholders with positive resolutions.
- Communicating regular service level updates to Senior Manager - Operations and other key stakeholders; implementation of agreed action plans during peak volumes
- Providing regular feedback, coaching and support to team.
- Drive, recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives to achieve more for our members.
Attributes and Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership experience and capacity to deliver desired results
- Proven ability to understand and explain in depth responsible lending guidelines and best practice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
- Financial Services certification is highly desired
