RAC Finance (RACF) specialise in market leading finance products and services ranging from Personal Loans, investment notes and property development finance loans.
What will you be doing?
As a Personal Loan Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing Personal Loan applications against RAC Finance Credit Policy to make responsible lending decisions within a fast paced environment.
In addition, you will;
- Conduct member discussions (inbound/outbound calling) to understand financial information provided on loan applications to support pre-approval or decline decisions
- Proactively keep members informed of loan progress, outcomes and complete follow up calls to progress loan applications to settlement
- Analysing all data and complete necessary credit assessment checks, to ensure an acceptable level of risk, complying with all legislative requirements including the National Credit Code
- Achieve credit assessment targets in accordance with credit policy and procedure
What will you bring to the role?
- Previous loan assessment experience is required (banking or finance industry experience preferred)
- Experience in a customer service role (face to face or in a contact center environment
- Strong communication skills
- Sound understanding of the national credit code, responsible lending obligations and Privacy Act
