Our client is seeking a highly capable Manager for its Program Management Office (PMO). The successful candidate will oversee centralised services to ensure the timely delivery of projects aligned with the client's strategic objectives. Responsibilities include developing and implementing Program Management strategy, managing a multi-disciplinary team, and contributing to the enhancement of program delivery performance.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Extensive experience in delivering high-value projects/programs within regulated industries.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Prince2.
- Demonstrated success in managing large, multi-disciplinary teams with complex, technical objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare comprehensive reports and briefings.
- Understanding of fostering workplace cultures focused on safety, security, collaboration, and inclusivity.
- Strong interpersonal skills conducive to trust, cooperation, and integrity in politically sensitive environments.
- Ability to thrive in fluid environments, exhibiting flexibility, agility, and adaptability.
- A valid Australian driver's license.
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with significant experience within management, along with familiarity with Commonwealth Government processes.
A tertiary qualification in relevant program/project management, law, finance, business management, or equivalent experience is required.
Eligibility Requirements

- Be an Australian citizen or be in the process of obtaining Australian Citizenship before commencement.
- Undergo pre-employment security assessment and subsequent clearance.
- Be medically fit to undertake job duties.
- Be willing to undertake intrastate and interstate travel, including small aircraft travel.
