About the role:

The Manager of Eldercare's Project Management Office is responsible for leading the establishment of consistent processes and governance for all Eldercare programs and projects. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will work with our Executive Team, Senior Managers, and subject matter experts across Eldercare to ensure the success of projects. The position will monitor project governance compliance with processes, provide advice, support and education on consistent change management for all projects and service development initiatives at Eldercare.

To excel in the role, you will be a qualified Project Manager with significant professional experience in a comparable organisation.  With demonstrated project management experience you will have the ability to lead large, complex projects to quality outputs, within tight deadlines and budgets. 

With high levels of initiative, accountability, business acumen and analytical skills you will have experience in analysing complex organisational challenges and proposing project-based solutions along with in-depth knowledge of contemporary project management methodologies and best practices.

The successful candidate will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business, or related field and significant professional experience in Project/ Program Management in a comparable organisation
  • Project management experience with the ability to lead large, complex projects to quality outputs, within tight deadlines and budget.  
  • Experience in establishing project reporting systems and in planning and delivering major projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing complex organisational challenges and proposing project-based solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of contemporary project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in utilising project management software tools.

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.

As per Eldercare’s Employee Immunisation Policy, all Eldercare employees are required to:

  • Be vaccinated against seasonal influenza by no later than 1 June each year
  • Be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines
