As Manager (Research and Workforce), you will specifically:
- Coordinate and undertake extensive research on initiatives and issues impacting on the future direction of work, skills, and vocational education and training in Queensland.
- Research and prepare submissions, procurement material, presentations, minutes, registers, research papers and reports for Jobs Queensland.
- Support Jobs Queensland to sustain relationships with a network of key stakeholders and industry partners.
- Provide analysis and advice on workforce planning, operational policy, program, and legislative issues affecting Jobs Queensland.
- Contribute to a high level of professional practice in the Jobs Queensland Secretariat by maintaining a good knowledge of corporate strategies, policies and practices and an awareness of government priorities and initiatives that have implications for Jobs Queensland.
- Contribute to and participate in promotional public relations, marketing, and awareness activities.
