We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ICT practitioner with a deep knowledge of information security and privacy principles to join our Safer Technologies team on a permanent full-time basis.
You will have substantial experience in reviewing and assessing third-party online services across both the school and corporate environments and be comfortable providing definitive advice in relation to their compliance with relevant legislation, national framework and departmental procedures, while contributing to the online safety of our students, staff and parent community.
As the Manager you will contribute strategically to the larger Privacy and Safer Technologies team and manage the operational requirements of your team.

About the Role
As the Manager, Safer Technologies you will manage a small and supportive team and be able to:
- Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding the appropriate use of third-party online services and vendor compliance, leveraging knowledge of relevant legislation, national framework and departmental procedures.
- Manage the undertaking of risk assessments of third-party online services used both within our schools and corporate environments to ensure they comply with information privacy, security, online safety and interoperability standards.
- Manage the resolution of support requests, overseeing responses to a broad range of online services matters, including investigation, assessment and development of customer and vendor responses.
The Manager, Safer Technologies, reports to the Director, Privacy and Safer Technologies, Governance, Cyber and Policy, Information and Technologies Branch, People, Information and Communication Services Division.
