Greater consideration will be given to suitable applicants, in order to improve access to employment and career opportunities (GSE Rule 26).What you’ll be doingThe Manager Programs, Equity and System Enablement is a key role within the Office of the Chief Executive that will lead and identify opportunities to influence and drive programs of work that build Equity and System connectedness in cancer control and across multicultural, primary care and consumer engagement priority areas. The role will manage cross-organisational collaboration and provide specialist expert advice to the executive team and the broader organisation on strategic priorities that align to the overriding principles of the NSW Cancer Plan and the Institute’s strategic directions.The role is responsible for managing the consumer engagement framework and identifying and driving outcomes to strengthen patient and consumer enablement in cancer control. One of the key drivers for this role is to shape and deliver the organisation-wide plan to improve equitable outcomes in cancer for priority and focus populations through establishing a coordinated approach to targeted programs and System enhancement opportunities.For your application to be consideredTo submit your application, please provide:Your resume (maximum five pages)A covering letter outlining what you can bring to the roleA 1-page response demonstrating how you address the Essential Requirements in the Role Description, as outlined below.Essential requirements· Demonstrated extensive experience and an outstanding record of achievement in leading outcomes which implement strategic priorities and deliver programs and initiatives in a large and complex environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.· Proven achievement in the development, successful implementation and monitoring and reporting of strategic health initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, strategically improve performance and manage multiple projects.· Demonstrated experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and delivering large scale, complex system-wide clinical change programs at a statewide level and managing/negotiating stakeholder expectations.· Demonstrated achievement in successfully leading teams in the delivery of outcomes, including managing and coaching teams and managers; building capability; meeting performance goals; and always fostering and maintaining a consumer-driven work culture.· Demonstrated high level communication skills, both written and verbal, and a proven ability to liaise, negotiate, partner with, and engage and influence multiple high-level stakeholders towards achieving results.If successful for interview candidates must bring original copies of essential qualifications to be sighted by the panel, and one copy to provide to panel.Interested?For more information:1) Click here for the
