What you'll do
We are looking for a Manager - Project Controls Tools & Implementation to join our team in Perth.
The role responsibilities include:
- Responsible for enabling consistent setup, ways of working for Project Controls within portfolios and projects. Assist Project Controls Managers (PCMs) in work instructions and consistency of approach and application of the Worley way and tools with Western Australia and Northern Territory (WANT).
- Primarily interfaces with PCMs and PMs and assists in setup and SME PCM input for Projects
- Formulate, document a location PCPCM way of working for various types of projects and portfolios.
- Work with digital team on integration of Project Controls (PC) with digital initiatives and plans on projects. Provide interface between project management and PCM's.
- Provide periodic assurance reviews /audits for projects re PC functions
- Assist to troubleshoot and resolve technical PC and PCM issues for projects and portfolios, assist in continuous improvement initiatives with PCMs across locations as well as assisting PCMs from technical perspective with PC tools.
- Providing an interface point with digital into PC reporting as well as assisting in alignment of PC reporting with PM and EM in setup.
- Support with tools training and education and develop super-users within the team.
- Propose and implement improvements and network with the global Worley team.
- Develop and maintain PC tools proposal presentations and documentation as well as present the PC tools functionality to clients as part of proposals and project delivery.
What you'll have
- Experience and excellent/SME level technical skills relating to Project Controls and project delivery.
- Able to work effectively with stakeholder to improve specific PC objectives on variety of execution models and scopes.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to others and make presentations when required.
- Ability to work with multiple interfaces and stakeholders while possessing high level problem solving and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in a range of MS Office 365 platforms and in overall project delivery reporting.
- Bachelor's degree qualified or suitable tertiary equivalent.
