👉🏼 The need-to-know…

This role is based on a 12-month full-time contract, with the possibility of permanency. Workdays are Monday to Friday, with travel to various Rise locations as required & some work-from-home. Flexibility around start & finish times can be discussed.

The Manager – People with Disability Accommodation Services, manages all aspects of the Supported Accommodation program operations & is responsible for all aspects of staff management including Senior Coordinators who directly manage sites & their employees.

This role ensures services are designed and delivered in accordance with service plans established with the people we support, our funding requirements, and are consistent with the strategic directions of Rise Service Delivery.

Typical work activities might include…

  • In conjunction with the PwD Leadership Team, review current PwD Supported Accommodation operations and address risks, recognise opportunities, and implement improvements as required.
  • Develop and manage operational performance for services under portfolio including setting and tracking performance indicators. 
  • Create and lead change within portfolio by developing innovative programs that are good quality and financially viable. 
  • Develop and implement contemporary services within portfolio in line with sector and client needs. 
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and organisations to deliver appropriate services.
  • Undertake all aspects of staff management.
  • Lead, mentor develop & supervise people n a way consistent with organisational values.

👉🏼 The need-to-have…

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Evidence-based decision-making skills with appropriate autonomy, including problem solving, negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
  • A proven history of leadership and ability to engage staff in delivering quality outcomes while maintaining a positive culture.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Disability Sector, relevant legislation, regulations, standards, and industry trends.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of managing NDIS funded Accommodation Services.
  • A proven capacity to make pragmatic decisions based on financial requirements and demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop effective partnerships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

Appointments to this position will be subject to a NDIS Worker Screening Check / NDIS Worker Orientation Module / NDIS Key Personnel Suitability Assessment / Aged Care Key Personnel Suitability Assessment.

Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.
