The Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) is a mission-driven organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting traditional medicine throughout Australia. Emphasising member services, ATMS is devoted to the advancement of natural medicine by offering ongoing professional education and representing practitioners across the country. With almost four decades of experience, ATMS is at the forefront of the industry, spearheading initiatives like accredited modality research and advocating with government bodies and health insurers.
About the Role:
The Operations Manager role is a dynamic opportunity where you will be the primary contact for all operational processes, reporting directly to the CEO and part of the Senior Management Team. You will oversee daily operations and drive organisational effectiveness.
You will also:
- Assist the CEO in team management and performance enhancement.
- Review and develop processes for program efficiency by implementing all operational actions.
- Build relationships with industry stakeholders, including practitioners, students, members, and associations.
- Lead projects, implement key company strategies, and support operational and administrative functions
- Effectively manage and lead a team of membership and administration staff
- Develop effective relationships with key internal and external staff
To have success in the role, you will be a flexible and dynamic individual with the ability to drive operational excellence. You will also have:
- Proven track record in high-level management roles.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Association or Business Management.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills to plan and manage tasks effectively.
- A positive can-do attitude, and the ability to support the team when required.
