The Company
This is a large Japanese Insurance business listed on the Tokyo stock exchange. It has a global presence with offices in 10 different countries including Australia and Singapore which is where the regional quarters are located. The business is looking for an Australian with Singapore Citizenship / Permanent Residency who is willing to relocate.
The Role

• Newly created role based in Singapore; Business sees a trend in retirement (superannuation)/ investment products in the ANZ region
• Team size/ structure: 8-10 people with 2 Head of Strategy who reports to General Manager of Corporate Planning; Portfolio is grouped by 3 countries/regions mainly, Mekong, Oceania (ANZ), India
• Culture/ Work arrangement:

• Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the office, 2 days work from home)
• Fast-paced, International, Transformative
• Identify business/success drivers, performing analysis and market/competitor research, facilitate discussion between regional and global teams/stakeholders across Sales, Operations, IT, etc.
• Manage resources, sitting in board meetings to summarise issues/topics and making recommendations to top management
• Preparing business proposal for ANZ & how it impacts the business

Your Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience 5-10 years of experience in strategy development, corporate
• planning, business performance management and financial
• analysis in life insurance and/or financial services
• Familiarity with Australia and/or other Anglo Saxon markets is
• essential and highly preferred
• Life insurance industry and market knowledge
• Strong understanding of key indicators related to sales
• channels, product lines, customers and financials, as well as

familiarity with regulatory topics
