The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision and co-ordination of a safe, efficient, and cost-effective phlebotomy collection service for both inpatient and outpatient areas, that meets the needs of the Gold Coast University Hospital and Health Service District. Key competencies (role specific criteria) The ability to communicate at a high level with multi-disciplinary hospital staff and consult with client's both internal and external to the organisation to provide effective resolution of complex issues to ensure optimum patient care and service delivery. Well- developed interpersonal and communication skills including conflict resolution, negotiation and influencing competencies. Maintain and apply specialist knowledge, skills and experience in phlebotomy collection and provide specialist support and advice regarding complex resource and operational issues relating to service provision as required for the Gold Coast Group laboratories.
