The Position

Title:  Manager Speech Pathology Services

Department:  Community Services Division

Classification:   Grade 4, Years 1-4

Hours per fortnight: 80 + ADO (consideration given to part time arrangements) 

Status: Permanent, ongoing

As we kick off with a bang in 2024, Echuca Regional Health are excited to appoint a Manager Speech Pathology Services to compliment a great team who support the region, including community centre and home-based care; education facilities; ERH inpatient bed-based services; and, residential aged care.

While making an impact on the Allied Health Leadership Team, the Manager Speech Pathology Services will be accountable for:

• Clinical leadership and support for a team of experienced and highly valued Speech Pathologists
• Collaborative operational management of Speech Pathology Services across the organisation, in partnership with Unit and Program Managers
• Contribute to clinical service provision across health service, building a strategy to achieve optimum levels with the resources available.
• Accountable management of Speech Pathology resources and staffing within defined budget
• Preparation of monthly activity reports and participation in management meetings.

• Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, and CPSP credentialed is essential 
• Passion for developing the clinical workforce in alignment with needs of the organisation
• High-level self-awareness and established ability to lead by example      
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork
