Together, we'll craft a narrative that combines high-octane adventure, behind-the-scenes authenticity, and engaging live streams, leveraging a reach of over 10 million engaged audiences.

Your role as Managing Editor puts you at the helm of the content creation process, from post-production to strategic distribution and brand collaborations. This pivotal role demands a unique blend of creativity, editorial insight, and leadership, ensuring our content not only resonates with our audience but also aligns perfectly with our strategic goals and partner expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post-Production Leadership: Oversee all aspects of post-production, ensuring content is polished, impactful, and upholds our quality standards.
- Content Creation and Editing: Develop and refine content strategies, overseeing the creation and editing of compelling content that aligns with our mission and partner objectives
- Content Scheduling and Release: Manage the content calendar, scheduling, and timely release of content across various platforms to maximise audience engagement
- Brand Collaboration: Coordinate closely with partners and the executive producer to integrate brand messaging and ensure content aligns with partner expectations
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the editorial team, fostering a culture of creativity and productivity
- Performance Analysis: Analyse content performance metrics to inform and optimise future content strategies
- Strategic Planning: Actively contribute to the strategic planning of content initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader program goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Film, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a content editing or Managing Editor role, preferably within a digital media environment or content-driven organisation.
- Proven track record of managing content production, from concept through post-production and distribution.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a creative team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling.
- Proficiency in content management systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A deep understanding of digital media and content trends.
- Current C Class or higher Driver's License (if necessary for on-location work).
