Your impact
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Supervisor. Based at our Tullamarine facility, you will be reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this role will be responsible for leading the production team to meet manufacturing targets.
Specifically, you will be responsible for leading a team on the shift whilst ensuring that production, quality and safety targets are met.
Note - This is a Thursday to Sunday 12 hour day shift role (6am to 6pm)
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of experienced operators by setting performance and development plans
  • Responsibility for shift operations during production cycles
  • Investigate, analyse, and implement preventative actions for quality and safety incidents or near misses
  • Manage direct and indirect labour and raw material costs for the lines
  • Control raw material inventory and work with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate replenishment with close focus on preforms
About you
  • Prior experience in a leadership position within a industrial environment
  • Degree or Trade qualifications, with strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safe Operating Procedures and HACCP principles - Preferred
  • Strong leadership capability with experience leading a team of trades.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to influence others, particularly in a unionised and fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders
