About The Role
Captain Cook Cruises, Australia's leading cruise company and part of SeaLink Marine & Tourism is seeking positive individuals with the qualification of MED 1.
Our diverse fleet provides you the ability to hone your skills across a broad spectrum of vessels, ranging from 35m to 63m in length, from catamarans to super yachts.
Once successful, you will become part of our friendly and professional results oriented Marine operations team, offering exceptional service to a wide range of customers seeking an outstanding cruise and leisure experience.
Successful candidates will enjoy being part of a focused team working in a busy environment dedicated to excellence in marine tourism.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep the master fully informed of the condition of the ships machinery, it’s effect on the ships operations and where defective machinery could affect the safety or operation of the ship
- Rectify defects and ensure that maintenance defects are fully recorded.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for all passengers and crew onboard.
- Maintain all vessels as required.
Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experence
- MED 1 Qualification (Essential)
- Valid Senior First Aid Certificate (Essential)
- AMSA Medical Certificate (Essential)
