We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Engineering Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. No two days are the same in this role which is essential to the success of the project. We are looking for skilled engineers who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier. Based in Canberra you will be involved in this watercraft project to strengthen the ADF’s amphibious capabilities.

What will I be doing day to day?
- Work with the Engineering Delivery Lead and the Deputy Project Manager to ensure successful delivery of the project
- Develop and review technical documents
- Exercise assigned engineering authority
- Lead the technical team in contract negotiations
- Motivate and mentor junior engineers
- Participate in applicable Work Groups and technical reviews
- Conduct and coordinate risk management activities
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Experience with Maritime projects
- Demonstrated experience in a Defence environment
- High level attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Hold a NV1 or higher security clearance
