This job description is for a Market Research Manager who will investigate consumer behaviours and product perceptions to deliver actionable insights via rigorous research methods and data analyses.Quantitative and Qualitative Primary Market Research (60%):
- Proactively partner with Business Units to be fully responsible and accountable to define business problems to arrive at Market Research objectives, briefs, and questionnaires.
- Conduct analysis on the Market Research output: Synthesize Market Research data with other market dynamics and relevant data points (eg competitor activities, market trends, etc) to discover and provide the therapy teams with actionable insights.
- Influence business partners to improve decision making through a better understanding of the customer and market: Customer needs, beliefs, pain points.
- Identify appropriate forums throughout the year to deliver insights to stakeholders. Regularly seek feedback on the effectiveness of insights delivery.
- Utilize social media platforms and/or vendors to capture insights related to Lilly and competitor products, consumer sentiments, and emerging trends.
- Monitor conversations, identify patterns, and deliver these insights to business partners
- At relevant time points, conduct content analysis and sentiment analysis to extract qualitative insights from textual data.
- Own the company wide methodology for measurement of customer loyalty.
- Be the point contact to liaise with Market Research agencies to design and administer surveys, including LMRi and external agencies. Carry our course correction of project deliverables as needed.
- Be fully accountable for the timely and compliant delivery of Market Research projects.
- Stay abreast of external MR trends and regularly re-asses the effectiveness of Market Research agencies, bringing new agencies through vendor approvals process as needed.
- Utilising cutting edge tools, including AI, to bring efficiencies to Lilly MR processes (for example, speeding up questionnaires, analyses, transcript generations, etc)
