The opportunity
We have a compelling opportunity for fieldworkers who will conduct face-to-face interviews across various locations in Brisbane to collect market research data.
Projects dates: 8th July - 14th August
Available shifts:
· weekday AM (6am to 11:30am)
· weekday PM (2pm to 7:30pm)
· Saturday and Sunday (10am to 5pm)

We are a major player in the market research industry, with a client-centric, outcome driven approach. Our Consulting division provides recommendations to our clients based on market research data, and the quality of this work has won some of Australia's largest projects in the market research industry.
Your key responsibilities
As part of the EY Sweeney team, you will be expected to consistently deliver high quality data and strive to achieve assigned quotas during your shift. Our team prides itself on working collaboratively and encouraging regular open communication between field staff and our leadership team office. The role involves heading out in small teams to record observational data of people traveling in and around Brisbane.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Eligibility to work in Australia (International students/WHV holders welcome)
- Minimum availability of 3 days per week
- Demonstrated fluency in spoken and written English - excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Ability to understand and follow correct procedures with minimal errors
- A strong interest in the data collection process and adherence to data integrity
- Adaptability to work in dynamic environments
- Willingness to work on your feet in outdoor environments for various shift lengths and times
- Punctuality and professional presentation at all time
- Excellent communication skills with respondents, stakeholders, and the greater EY Sweeney team
- A car and valid driver's license will be helpful to reach some of the locations.
- Experience in market research will be highly regarded but not essential
Applicants deemed suitable will be invited to attend a virtual interview/digital screening. If successful during the interview stage, applicants will be contacted for a paid training and briefing session to be held at our Brisbane office on Friday 8th July. This in full day of training and attendance is mandatory to be considered for the role.
