About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our vibrant Newell Brands marketing team. This role requires someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will support various marketing initiatives and administrative tasks to contribute to the success of our marketing campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual early in their career to gain valuable experience in a corporate marketing environment.

What will you be responsible for?
- Update and send out monthly New Product Development (NPD) tracker
- Compile competitor information to support market analysis
- Assist in preparing customer presentations and marketing materials (e.g., IB, Catalogue)
- Manage purchase orders (POs), invoice receipting, and input into monthly Advertising & Promotion (A&P) tracker
- Coordinate samples management to agency partners and external stakeholders
- Take meeting minutes and collate information during business Work in Progress (WIP) meetings
- Coordinate team meetings and assist in on/off-site event bookings
- Maintain the marketing filing system and ensure information is accurately recorded and updated
- Assist with office culture initiatives and maintain communal areas for the Marketing Team
- Perform other administrative duties as required.
What you need to be successful
- Previous experience as an office assistant or in a marketing-related field is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively under limited supervision and prioritise tasks
- Warm and engaging personality with a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory).
