AsMarketing Assistant you will play a pivotal role in supporting the marketing team across a variety of marketing and communication areas, crafting compelling narratives and engaging content that resonates with our target audience.

In this full time, permanent role, based in Suncare’s Maroochydore office, you will work with the Marketing Team to capture captivating customer stories and create dynamic content to enhance brand visibility and increase awareness of our service offerings. Additionally, you will assist with internal communications, including intranet and staff blog updates, aligning with our brand values and objectives.

More about the role

Reporting to the Marketing Specialist, work closely with the marketing team to generate creative ideas for new and traditional media aligning with Suncare’s brand messaging and objectives. 

You will also:

• Contribute to the development of high-impact content and campaigns to increase brand and service awareness.
• Liaise with various stakeholders to seek out and compile content, including good news and customer stories for internal and external publication.
• Assist in the development of visually appealing and compelling multimedia content for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Support in the creation, scheduling and publishing of content across various channels, including EDM, social media, and blogs.
• Assist with coordinating events and promotional activities as required, including event photography / content creation for social media or other uses as required.
• Provide support in the creation and delivery of EDM campaigns as requested by the Marketing Team.
• Coordinate internal communications as required, including updating Suncare’s intranet site and Viva Engage.
• Prepare accurate reports and respond to requests for information as required in a timely manner.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and excellent spelling and grammar. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally. 
• An eye for detail – a willingness and ability to check all work thoroughly before handing over, to minimise errors and oversights. 
• A growth mindset with a passion for ongoing development and learning 
• Positive work ethic with the ability to work independently and within a team.  
• Demonstrated ability to work with and embrace current and new technologies. 
• Willingness to use own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring vehicle is appropriately registered and insured.

A tertiary qualification or relevant experience in marketing, communications, or related field is preferred but not essential.
