With a successful and growing team based at offices in Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne. The business has a strong reputation for supplying high quality products and service to the civil infrastructure industry. As part of our strategy for continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Part Time Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts Team based at our Head Office in Meadowbrook. Approx 15-20 hours per week
Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to -
- All Accounts Payable & Receivables Duties
- Processing month end payments
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Communicate with suppliers and company departments.
- Resolving payment queries
- Correctly code all invoices in the general ledger
- Ensuring all invoices are approved for payment by the correct cost centre
- Other ad hoc accounting duties
To be successful for this role, you must possess the following -
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Ability to manage time and work to tight deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Outstanding customer service standards
- Highly self motivated
- Great communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Team orientated
