In this exciting role you will get full exposure to the marketing mix. You will have the unique opportunity to support our Sales & Marketing team with the current and future direction of our key brands. You will be executing against brand strategy and leading the development and execution of impactful tactics to grow our house of brands.
How you will add value:
- Day to day management of a key suite of confectionery brands
- Full ownership of our NPD (New Product Development) process. This will include working closely with Marketing, QA, Production, Purchasing and Warehouse as well as external supplier. It requires management of timelines and critical path to ensure we meet launch dates.
- Build strong relationships with both existing and new suppliers and understand their capabilities.
- Responsible for internal new item set up in our software called Netsuite
- Assist with development and activation of brand plans, that align with our strategy and company goals.
- Support internal sales team with go to market plans & category strategies.
- Assist with social media platforms in conjunction with digital agencies.
- Development of Trade marketing tools such as Point of Sale displays and Trade Presenters
- Regular participation and presentations to internal and external teams
- Measure and report performance of brand campaigns.
- Monthly analysis & reporting. This includes reporting on market trends, consumer behaviour, industry and competition activity that inform plans and tactics.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years as a Marketing Assistant or similar with a drive to learn and build your core Marketing capability.
- Experience working with FMCG products &/or categories is desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail in execution
- Excellent organisation and project management skills is mandatory
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external suppliers.
