Job description

Based in Malaga, we are seeking a creative and driven individual to join our small but dedicated marketing team. You will collaborate with the team to plan and strategies ideas to expand our reach and influence.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies, contributing to various aspects of marketing campaigns, digital initiatives and promotional activities. We are looking for someone who is a strong writer, has a passion for content marketing and likes to challenge ‘safe’ ways of thinking. We want someone who can bring new ideas to the table and make them happen.

Duties

- Content Creation:

  • Assist in developing engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, blogs and website
  • Collaborate with the team to create compelling visual and written content that aligns to brand guidelines
  •  Ensure timely and relevant content updates on website

- ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Social Media:

  • Execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries and generate audience interaction

- ​​​​​​​Campaign Co-ordination:

  • Produce and monitor EDMs
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals
  • Assist in tacking campaign performance and generating insightful reports

- Market research: conduct research into industry trends, competitor analysis and target audiences to inform marketing strategies

- Experience with producing and monitoring EDMs

- Coordinate and assist in the development and production of various digital communications activities in line with the marketing communications plan

- Develop briefs and coordinate the work of internal and external agencies

- Liaise with stakeholders to assist with project-based marketing communication requirements 

- Undertake specific projects as required to assist the wider marketing team as necessary

- Getting stuck into the graphic design to keep our marketing collateral current and looking great (and acting as our brand guardian!)

- Event support – assist in coordinating events both virtual and in person, ensuring seamless execution.​​​​​​​

Skills & Experience

  • You have experience in marketing automation and love to solve complex problems that require time and patience
  • Your organisational skills are second-to-none
  • Experience in a client or agency side marketing/account coordinator role with specific focus on digital media channels
  • Proficient in using social media platforms and basic design tools
  • Experience supporting a marketing team in the delivery of campaigns or other marketing communications activities
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to time management, multi-tasking and prioritising workload to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and the ability to constructively critique digital design concepts according to communication objectives
  • Proven ability in pulling together and presenting reports on digital activity and using insights from data to inform decisions
  • Ability to liaise and collaborate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome
  • Experience using Google Adwords and Google Analytics
  • Understanding of online advertising and the relationship between SEM and SEO

Job role is flexible: Full-time or Part-time 

Requirements

  • Driver's Licence;
  • Successful applicants will hold a current police clearance or be able to provide one within one month of commencing employment; and
  • The position is open to Australian citizens and/or persons that have a legal, valid right to work in Australia.
