About the roleThe Marketing Manager will be responsible for increasing engagement with the organisation and building positive reputation through effective development and implementation of marketing strategy. You will need to be a gun with social media and an excellent storyteller.

Duties will include:

• Develop and implement a communication plan to engage key stakeholder groups, and increase accessibility
• Aligning business objectives to marketing strategy and plans to ensure successful product development and launch
• Plan and deliver advertising campaigns
• Creating content for all digital platforms
• Responsibility for the organisation’s website, ensuring content is up to date, relevant and compelling
• Establish close relations with relevant media, supplying regular, accurate and news-angled stories
• Track and report on media coverage
• Gain sponsorships and donations
• Build brand reputation meeting KPIs
• Develop budget and track actuals

Essential Criteria:

• A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations or demonstrated equivalent competency
• All-round marketing, communications and engagement experience (preferably 2+ years)
• Demonstrated experience in the writing and coordination of publications and external / internal communications
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and all social media platforms
• Excellent organisational ability and time management skills
