Mellen Events, now part of the Live Nation Group, is Western Australia's leading concert, promotions, and event management company. In partnership with We Are Gather, we're currently seeking a Marketing Manager (MM) to spearhead our Pair'd Margaret River Region marketing portfolio.
About Pair'd
Pair'd is world-class four-day wine and food celebration set in the stunning coastal wine region of Margaret River, from 14-17 November, 2024.
Pair'd is the coming together of expected and unexpected pairings unique to Western Australia’s South West region, where adventure meets indulgence.
About the Role
As the MM, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating and executing efficient and effective marketing strategies for Pair'd. Moreover, you'll have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our culinary offerings by introducing fresh and vibrant events and products to our portfolio.
Requirements
- A minimum 4 years experience in event marketing.
- A genuine passion for food and drink experiences, live music, and contemporary culture.
- Familiarity with the Australian hospitality landscape, ideally with a background in food and beverage.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of destination marketing (both locally and nationally) and event marketing strategies is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as MM will encompass:
- Developing and executing comprehensive marketing, advertising, and sponsorship/partnership initiatives to create brand awareness and drive ticket sales.
- Managing sponsorship and partnership marketing campaigns for Pair'd and associated brand partners.
- Collaborating with various internal teams to ensure seamless event execution and brand visibility.
- Additional duties as needed to support the overall marketing objectives of Mellen Events and We Are Gather.

This is a fixed term contractor position commencing June 2024 (or as soon as mutually available) until 31 December 2024. There is a possibility of the position becoming full time from January 2025. The role may be located in either Sydney or Perth.
