Our client, a leader in the automotive retail industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Specialist to join the team in Sydney. This role will be focusing on trades and consumer marketing, and will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies targeted towards both trade partners and consumers, driving brand awareness, engagement, and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote company products and services to trade partners and consumers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events
- Manage trade marketing initiatives, including developing promotional materials, coordinating trade shows, and fostering relationships with key partners and stakeholders
- Manage B2B and B2C marketing events including, logistics, printing, merchandise production and other supporting materials.
- Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation and improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to support product launches, promotions, and other marketing initiatives
- Support the development and execution of consumer-focused marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and customer engagement programs
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as a brand ambassador
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry or retail sector
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in analysing data and deriving actionable insights
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to overcome marketing challenges and drive results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Ideally intermediate - advanced Excel) and familiarity with marketing analytics tools and platform
- Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to take on new challenges and initiatives
