As our business continues to grow, we are always exploring new opportunities in various online and eCommerce marketplaces. To meet our growing needs we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team. 

The role:

Based in our Melbourne office you will be reporting directly to the digiDirect Marketplaces Manager, who oversees our presence on third party marketplaces. Experience dealing with high volume marketplaces such as eBay, MyDeal, Catch or Amazon will fast track your success.  Your responsibilities will include a great deal of data, data processing and data management.  The role will quickly expand to planning, coordinating and executing content, product selection, recording and reporting activities, monitoring traffic, achieving sales and targets.

With an enthusiastic attitude and a love for eCommerce, you will understand what's required to deliver a great user experience for customers. Things happen quickly so you will need to have the stamina to work in a fast-paced retail based environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Keeping various sites up to date with relevant changes and promotional material in line with scheduled activities.
• Coordinate the optimisation, review and creation of content across the different channels to market.
• Assist and support the implementation of the eCommerce strategy to drive conversion, traffic & revenue growth.
• Work with key stakeholders to develop and launch eCommerce projects.
• Complete regular functional reviews of projects and maintenance of multiple sites.
• Assist with analysis and evaluation of ecommerce activity across sites

To be successful:

• Knowledge in consumer electronics, photography and/or sports apparel could be an advantage.
• Experience in commercial marketplaces trading such as eBay, My Deals, Catch, Amazon, Westfield Direct.
• Have great organisational and time management skills, to deliver to deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Above average IT / computer skills are a must.
• Passionate about ecommerce and the digital space.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a deadline-driven environment, to think on your feet, adapt quickly and hit the ground running.
• Understanding of best practice ecommerce and marketing principles.
• Strong consulting skills to work collaboratively with key stakeholders
• Analytical skills, attention to detail and competence in reviewing and understanding data.
• Have the ability to learn quickly with a positive team spirit and ‘can do’ attitude.
• Experience with content management systems is preferable, but not essential.
