Martech Engineer

Based in Sydney or on the Gold Coast.Job Description:We are seeking a MarTech Engineer to join our dynamic team responsible for for the deployment and support of clients' marketing technology stacks and the leveraging of those stacks towards clients' marketing goals.Responsibilities:

• Lead technical aspects of projects related to any Marketing Technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment, and able to successfully keep to deadlines.
• Work with the various stakeholders including Marketing, Data Platforms and Analytics, and other technology teams to deliver solutions that solve business/customer problems.
• Work with various technology and business stakeholders to uplift the existing capabilities in the Marketing Technology function for improved performance, efficiencies, scalability and reliability, and enhance business/customer value of the tech stack.
• Facilitating the convergence of 'leading edge' technologies into the existing enterprise architecture.
• Appraising and reporting on new development techniques and vendor products and making recommendations on the acquisition of advanced technology.
• Have familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle methodologies including requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance.
• Diagnosing and solving technical issues that may arise during the development life cycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in Information Technology, with hands on experience in platform development, specialised application development, systems and processes, coupled with tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with various marketing automation and decisioning platforms like Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pega Customer Decisioning Hub
• In depth knowledge of data, customer analytics and decisioning
• Experience with various coding languages like SQL, Java, Javascript, Python, HTML or CSS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Terraform preferred)
• Experience with Jenkins, bitbucket, AWS codepipeline, bamboo would be advantageous.
• Experience with building REST/SOAP API's and middleware
• Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
• Demonstrated high level technical expertise, problem solving skills and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience participating in programs and projects.
• Marketing or Digital domain is highly regarded.
