The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Master 5 Skipper to join the team at Discovery Parks – Lake Argyle.
You will be central to ensuring our guests experience the very highest levels of service and safety while on our tours. Skippers are an integral part of the properties daily operations from transfers in and out of Kununurra to guided boat tours.
The Kimberley Durack is 13.45m Waterline and 15mt Overall length.
Qualifications:
- Master 5 (Essential)
- MED 2 (Essential)
- Senior First Aid (Essential)
- Manual Driver's License (Essential)
- West Australian F Endorsement (desirable)
- West Australian MR License (desirable)
- West Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (desirable)
- Relevant qualification in either Guiding/Environmental/Education (desirable)
- Previous experience as a Master 5 Skipper - preferably on Tours
- Strong Interest in Wildlife & Nature
- Self-motivation to make an impact on our Tour offering
- Ability to lead a small team
- Positive, warm and enthusiastic energy
- Marine mechanical experience highly regarded
