Combining expertise in demand management with proficiency in Scrum methodologies, this role ensures alignment between business needs and development efforts while fostering a collaborative, agile work environment.You will be based at the Perth Operations Centre and the Perth CBD, where you'll find a dynamic and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, learning, and growth.Our client is looking for an agile Scrum Master to join our dynamic, collaborative environment and be a part of their global Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) Network Platforms Team.This role is a great opportunity for a Scrum Master with significant Work Demand Management experience and is a pivotal role responsible for triaging demand, prioritizing work, and facilitating Agile development processes within the organization. Combining expertise in demand management with proficiency in Scrum methodologies, this role ensures alignment between business needs and development efforts while fostering a collaborative, agile work environment.To be successful in this role, you will have the below experience:

• Demand Management: Collaborate with Demand Managers and Product Owners to understand incoming demand, business objectives, requirements, and priorities.
• Scrum Process Facilitation: Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams. Facilitate and lead Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. Ensure the Scrum team understands and follows Agile principles and practices.
• Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment. Encourage communication and cooperation between team members, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Obstacle Removal: Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder the team's progress. Work with the team to find creative solutions to challenges.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Facilitate discussions on lessons learned and areas for improvement during retrospectives. Actively participate in Agile community forums and share best practices across teams.
• Product Backlog Management: Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure a well-maintained and prioritized product backlog. Assist in refining user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Metrics and Reporting: Track and report key Agile metrics to measure team performance and progress. Provide insights to stakeholders on project status and potential risks.
• Coach and Mentor: Coach team members on Agile principles and practices. Mentor the team in self-organization and cross-functionality.

Qualifications and Skills required for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile development environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, and priorities.
• Capability to evaluate and prioritize incoming demand based on strategic alignment, resource availability, and ROI
• Strong understanding of mining operations and value chain.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of other frameworks such as Kanban and Lean
