Master Stylist

This role is ideal for a hairdresser who has been in the industry long term and is passionate about hair, people and training.  You will be well rewarded financially for this role as well as work closely with the Salon Manager to reach some exciting personal and career goals. 

Here are some points that will help explain what you will need to apply

• You are a qualified hairdresser with 5+ years skilled experience
• You are a talented colourist and you have the ability to understand and advise clients on best-suited hair colour/tones and styles with confidence
• You have perfected cutting and styling all hair lengths and styles and are able to deliver high quality results every time
• You have helped train and support junior staff in previous roles and love sharing knowledge with your peers and the juniors.
• You take pride in delivering exceptionally beautiful work and are always working on your skills and your techniques
• You absolutely love to provide each client with a truly personalised service and experience
• You are super friendly and enjoy being part of supportive team with shared goals
• You are able to work in a fast paced environment, give support to your fellow staff members and can multi task calmly and efficiently
• You would love to help grow within the Evalyn Parsons brand plus the broader hairdressing industry and would be open to future promotions or opportunities.

Experience with the Wella colour ranges would be advantageous but not essential.  Full training will be provided to start this role.

Wedding Hair Stylist/Extensions Coordinator

This role is specifically for a hairdresser with styling and wedding experience and a passion for the wedding industry. The hours are flexible and the role can be a casual or part time role but its possible to expand the hours through addition work in our Moffat Beach salon to grow to a full time role

We also have a growing extensions clientele and require a coordinator to look after those clients using a combination of weft, tape and keratin bonds.  Additional training will be available for this part of the role.

It would be an advantage to have both wedding and extension skills but we will accept applications for each role separately as well.

Here are some points that will help explain what you will need to apply

• Qualified hairdresser with minimum 2-3 years experience as a qualified hairdresser
• You know your styling and feel confident with curling techniques, basic upstyles and creating individual looks for each client.
• You are calm under pressure, have as positive outlook to any situation and can problem solve well,
• You are truly passionate about working with people and know how to deliver an incredible client experience
• You are super friendly and enjoy being part of supportive team with shared goals
• You have a creative flair and aren’t afraid to show it off
• You are well-presented, reliable and highly motivated
• You are focused, hard-working and know how to deliver your best in a busy, high performing environment

1st Year Apprentice

This is it.  The opportunity that only comes knocking once. Join an exciting and fun team of hairdressers and learn from the absolute best.

This role is for someone starting at the beginning or recently began an apprenticeship but is super passionate about hair and becoming a hairdresser.

• You have a great work ethic and aren't afraid of working your way up.
• You are very friendly and kind and love working with people.
• You know how to follow procedures and enjoy working in a structured team where everyone knows their role and you can help make all the magic happen
• You are very organised and enjoy seeing a job finished well.
• You love supporting others to be the best they can be
• You can bring a can-do attitude every day and then we will help make you the best hairdresser you can be.
• You understand this means you will start from the beginning and work your way up while learning and growing from an incredible team around you.
