About the Role:
The role is responsible for effective planning, directing and coordinating of production materials activities and is aimed to guarantee the service level for internal clients, in terms of quality, efficiency and results orientated production materials activities for Ferrero Australia.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide packaging materials planning assistance to the Production / Packaging Manager and complete requisitions for the purchase of packaging materials in line with production plans and forecasts
Monitor stock levels of packaging materials held in Store and Packaging Departments, both via the SAP system and physical counts
Prepare forecasts for packaging materials where relevant, and review critical stock reports concerning packaging materials received from store and action where necessary
Review low stock – out of stock occurrences concerning packaging materials
Process production barcodes and amendments to barcodes within the SAP system in line with the Production Plan
Prepare weekly requirements for relevant departments on respective packaging materials, in line with Production Plans
Follow the respective protocols regarding and participate in the quality program based on ISO 9001, food safety program based on ISO 22000, the ISO 14000 Environmental Management System, based on the environmental policy, the ISO 50001 Energy Management System and WHS program based on ISO 45001
Report all the identified issues and problems and follow the instructions in providing problem resolution using respective protocols, documentation, as well as identifying the root cause and taking preventive measures
Ensure raw materials / packaging / processes / intermediate product and finished product in their department is maintained in a “food safe” way and ensure the people on the lines are working in a “food safe” way
Communicate externally and internally any information regarding quality, food safety, health and safety and other related topics
Who we are looking for:
University degree in relevant fields
Relevant production materials coordination and management experience in FMCG food manufacturing
Strong accountability and problem-solving skills, result orientation
Good planning and control capability, lateral thinking
Ability to work across teams and manage multiple stakeholders in an effective way, good team management
Adaptiveness and flexibility, good time and self-management skills
Advanced MS Office, SAP is considered a strong plus
