Property Coordinator
Division: Boral Constr Mat Limited Department: BPG NATIONAL Work type: Permanent - full time Location: Sydney
Your next opportunity:
The role requires consistent management/administration of property and land management matters, payable & receivable contracts and obligations with respect to all property interests in the Region (Including but not limited to all statutory charges, rates, taxes, rent, royalty and option payments).
The role will be responsible for managing and controlling tenure negotiations to facilitate implementation of business strategy, in relation to the residential and rural license/lease portfolio with the opportunity to expand into supporting the Property Managers in the management of industrial and commercial leases.
Your day will involve:
Document and improve procedures relating to property management
Coordinate with external property managers to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs
Manage property legislation and compliance programs including all required inspections and compliance with safety legislation
Identify opportunities for revenue generation on under-utilised Boral owned property
Support the national team of Property Managers with the maintenance of financial and administrative controls over property management activities
Management of the residential and agistment portfolio in Boral’s property portfolio. Ensure rental rates are competitive/ market-based
What are we looking for?
At least 2 years’ experience in the property management field with professional/corporate organisations
Knowledge of property management and experience in different property sectors e.g. industrial, office, residential, special uses
The ability to provide authoritative and clear direction on matters relevant to residential leasing
Strong people skills and communication skills (both written and oral);
Desirable to have experience with property databases (but not essential);
Knowledge of relevant legislation including property, building, planning and WH&S
Ability to build effective and strong working relationships with people
