About the Opportunity
Do you have 2 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics and a forklift ticket? Join the ASC team in Henderson on a 12-month contract to perform a wide variety of warehousing functions that contribute to the Collins Class Submarine (CCSM) maintenance program, as well as other internal ASC projects.
Responsibilities
- Accurate checking, receipt and conformance of all warehouse deliveries;
- Stock transfer and put away of stock to ensure efficient storage of materials;
- Picking and issuing of stock to internal and external customers;
- Carry out stocktakes and cycle counts as required;
- Provide in-house support to facilities and production teams as required;
- Use of internal database to accurately maintain stock information;
- Maintain a high-level of housekeeping and WHSE practices;
- Working as part of a team and regularly communicating with internal and external personnel.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a warehousing and logistics role;
- Previous experience working with a RF system;
- Valid High Risk Licence - Forklift (LF) and experience in operating a forklift;
- White Card;
- Familiarity and working knowledge of stock control databases and systems;
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as strong time management skills.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
