SalaryFerris Metal Recyclers are seeking a motivated person to work in our Burton recycling yard. This position involves working within a small team, safely operating equipment and handling materials with an outstanding eye for detail to help the efficient processing of scrap metal.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Material Handler/Excavator operation to load/unload various yard processing equipment and trucks safely, respectfully and responsibly at all times
- Material Handler/Excavator to load shipping container's
- Work with our Operations Manager to ensure production schedules are met
- Keeping machines and equipment maintained daily and kept clean and tidy inside and out
To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:
- Excavator ticket and Forklift license with metal sorting experience highly valued (although not essential). Must have at least 12 months of hands on excavator operation experience at a minimum
- Ability to complete a physical and pass a drug & alcohol test, as per the job requirements
- Ability to think on your feet and to problem solve and an outstanding eye for detail
- Ability to perform well under production pressures with strong communication skills
- A strong focus on safety.
