EMJC Earthmoving & Plant Hire has been operating since 2008, providing plant hire, heavy haulage and maintenance solutions for the mining, civil and construction industry.
With branches located in Perth, Newman and an onsite team in Collie, an opportunity has arisen for a full-time Material Logistic Office (MLO) to join the Purchasing division in our Perth team based in Hazelmere.
The role:
- Arranging and comparing quotes from OEM and aftermarket suppliers
- Ordering parts from a parts master developed from the job scope
- Tracking outstanding orders and expediting back orders
- Arranging air/road freight
- Ensuring all P/O’s are receipted
- Providing parts outstanding reports for EOM progress recognition
- Managing major inventory level records
- Job costing

Essential skills and qualifications for this role include: -
- Minimum 3 years industry experience in a similar role
- Broad knowledge of earthmoving equipment and mechanical workshop operations
- Knowledge of earthmoving parts suppliers
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Reporting and computer skills
